The “Modern Tastes” series is a creative breath of fresh air and a vibrant counterbalance to my more reflective, emotional works. Here, instead of difficult emotions, you’ll find… lemons, melons, and pomegranates on canvas. Existential dilemmas give way to rich colors, appetizing contrasts, and a light – even culinary – approach to composition.
It’s also a deliberate color experiment. On a daily basis, I’m loyal to a cool palette – dominated by shades of blue, navy, and violet. But in Modern Tastes, I decided to step out of that artistic comfort zone and reach for colors that weren’t my usual go-to: warm yellows, reds, and greens. This series is my way of breaking the palette rules – a space of freedom and spontaneity, without the weight of deep meanings. 
The inspiration? Classic still life – but without the pathos or museum dust. These paintings are created purely for the joy of making – and for discovering new corners of my own creativity. No heavy concepts, just art for the eye, the senses, and the fun of it. This is art you’ll want to eat with your eyes.
